Organic Sunset Kiawe is our rarest award winning variety of Hawaiian Honey. The story behind this honey begins in our isolated Kiawe Forest, where our bees collect Kiawe nectar of exceptional purity and quality. Normally this nectar results in an extraordinary white and creamy honey, but at the very end of the Kiawe season, which we call the Sunset Bloom, our bees sometimes make honey that is the color of lemon frosting.

The honey has the same creamy texture as our white Kiawe Honey, but there is a faint hint of citrus and a yummy beeswax finish. We don’t know the source of the subtle change, instead we celebrate the mystery in occasion when it happens.
